 THE PROCESS

TO BOOK

If you think we’d be a great fit, please fill out my contact form with some details about yourself and your photography needs. I’ll get back to you within 48 hours to learn more about you and your vision for our photo shoot.

After we discuss your ideas and preferences, I'll send you a questionnaire and a contract to finalize your booking. To reserve your date, you'll need to complete the contract and pay a retainer fee of $200.

 

SESSION PREP

You’re Booked! I highly recommend completing the questionnaire so I can plan our session and prepare appropriate “prompts” in advance. If you need any assistance with choosing outfits, just let me know, and I’ll send you my styling guide.

I’ll reach out a week before our session to confirm the details and again a day before to finalize the timing. Many clients prefer the dreamy golden light just before sunset, but this depends on the weather forecast, which is most reliable 24 hours before the session. Typically, this might adjust our scheduled time by about 30 minutes earlier or later. Ah, the joys of Toronto weather!

 
 

PROOFING

After our enjoyable session, I will carefully go through the hundreds of photos taken to remove any undeliverable shots (such as test shots, blurry images, duplicates, and unflattering expressions).

Within a week of our session, you'll receive the remaining images to select your favorites for editing. The number of photos available will depend on the package you chose, but additional photos can be purchased as well.

 
 
 

FINAL ALBUM

I will edit the selected images within 3-4 weeks from the day you make your selections. The final album will be delivered via an online gallery.

Please note that extensive Photoshop editing will incur an additional fee per photo. This includes services such as removing glare from glasses or body slimming.

Do you have locations you would recommend?

Yes! Check out my Instagram, photo albums, and blog to see albums from various locations. I shoot at a variety of spots within the GTA, each offering unique backdrops. Visit these resources to find the perfect location for your session!

Will you suggest cool places to shoot at the location we choose?

You bet! First, we look for the areas with the best light, then choose the specific spots within the location. We keep things moving to ensure you get a variety of backdrops and scenes from one shoot location. If you’d like to try a couple of locations within walking distance, we suggest adding a bit of extra time so we can explore and have fun.

Can we have the RAW file?

RAW files are the unprocessed versions of the images and are not the final product. Part of my work includes editing and enhancing the photos to ensure they meet my quality standards and artistic vision. Providing edited, high-quality images ensures you receive the best possible result. If you have specific needs or questions about this policy, feel free to discuss them with me!

Will we receive the copyright to our photos?

No, the copyright to the photos remains with the photographer. However, you will receive high-resolution, edited JPEG files with a personal usage license. This allows you to print, share, and enjoy your photos freely. If you need the images for commercial use or have specific licensing requests, please let us know, and we can discuss the details.

Can I purchase additional photos after the proofing album?

Absolutely! I encourage you to pick extra photos during the proofing stage for me to edit. Once I deliver the final album, you can decide if you want to proceed with the extra photos or not.

Additional photos are available for $25.00 per memory/.

Will you help us pose? We are awkward with posing!

I understand that not everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera. I'll guide you through natural and relaxed poses to ensure you look your best. My goal is to make the session fun and stress-free, so you can enjoy the experience and love the final photos.
