 THE PROCESS

TO BOOK

If you think we would be a good fit, shoot me a message by filling out my contract form here with some information about yourself and what you are looking for! I will respond within 48 hours to learn more about you and your vision for our photo shoot.

Once I get to know you and what you are looking for, I will officially book you in by sending you a questionnaire and contract to sign. To reserve the date, I will need the contract completed and retainer fee (30%).

 

SESSION PREP

YOU ARE BOOKED! The Questionnaire is highly recommended, this way I am able to plan our session and prepare “prompts” ahead of time. If you need any help choosing outfits, let me know! I will shoot over my styling guide :).

I will reach out 1 week before to confirm the session and 1 day before to finalize the time. This is because of most of the time, client’s want the perfect dreamy golden light right before sunset but this is dependent on the weather forecast and I find it most reliable 24 hours before the session date. Yes, that is Toronto weather for you. Usually this will be 30 mins earlier or later than our scheduled time.

 
 

PROOFING

After our fun session, I will cull through the hundreds of images taken to remove any undeliverable photos (including: test shots, blurry shots, duplicates and unflattering expressions).

The rest of the images will be delivered to you to pick out your favourites to edit within the week after our session. The amount of photos will depend on the package you picked but additional photos are available for purchase as well. 

 
 
 

FINAL ALBUM

I will edit the selected images within 3-4 weeks from the day you completed your selections. Final album will be delivered via an online gallery.

Please note all heavy photoshop editing will cost additional per photo. This includes anything from: Removing glare from glasses to body slimming.

FAQs

Do you have locations you would recommend?

Yes! I highly suggest you visit my Instagram, photo albums and blog to see albums from different locations. I shoot at a variety of locations within the GTA.

Will you suggest cool places to shoot at the location we choose?

You bet! First , we look for the areas with the best light. Then location second. But we keep things moving, so you will get a variety of backdrops and scenes from one shoot location. If you would like to try a couple locations (within walking distance), we always suggest adding a bit of extra time, so we can explore and have fun.

Can we have the RAW file?

We deliver the final processed image which is in JPEG format. We do not deliver unedited RAW files as this is an unfinished and unedited product which does not represent our product and services. This is industry standard within the wedding photography and many other photography industries.

Will we receive the copyright to our photos?

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Can I purchase additional photos after the proofing album?

Absolutely! I encourage you to pick 1-2 extra photos during the proofing stage for me to edit. Once I deliver the final album, you can decide to proceed with the extra photos or not.

Additional photos are available for $25.00/photo.

Will you help us pose? We are awkward with posing!

Trust me when I say my clients are not professional models but they do just fine during their sessions! I want you to have fun with us during the shoot and not to worry! I will give you “prompts” to do during the session while I capture the chemistry and raw moments.
